Job Title: Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team in Aberdeen, Washington.

About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to work closely with our Health Educator, Chronic Care Coordinators, medical providers, and other clinical team members in an outpatient setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nutrition education and counseling to patients, conducting patient risk assessments, and developing personalized nutrition plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, obesity, and heart disease.
  • Conduct patient risk assessments and develop personalized nutrition plans.
  • Work closely with the Health Educator, Chronic Care Coordinators, and medical providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with other clinical team members to develop and implement nutrition-related programs and services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition research and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition from an accredited university.
  • Completion of an accredited dietetic internship program or Coordinated Undergraduate Program in Dietetics and status as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission for Dietetic Registration.
  • Certified Dietitian in the state of Washington.
  • Registered Dietitian Credential.
  • Experience in an outpatient or similar setting, with a strong interest in working with multicultural clients.
