Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at Gold Standard Enterprises, Inc. in Springfield. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe store environment, and supporting the sales team in achieving sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with purchases, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a clean and safe store environment by adhering to company standards and procedures.
  • Support the sales team by restocking shelves, processing transactions, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and meet customer needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the success of the store.
Requirements
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Ability to count cash and make change accurately.
  • Ability to operate business machines (scanners, computer keyboards, etc.).
  • Ability to pass any applicable alcohol training class and maintain a current certification card.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 40-50 pounds.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and managers.
  • Ability to follow directions and complete assignments.
  • Ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to read small type.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to repeatedly walk up and down stairs.
  • Ability to work in cold areas.
  • Ability to work hours as scheduled.
  • Consistent and regular attendance.
