The increasing demand for our expertise has spurred our expansion. We are currently in search of a skilled Hybris Technical Architect who excels in a fast-paced setting.

As a Hybris Technical Architect within our Hybris practice, you will play a pivotal role in the design and execution of cutting-edge scalable ecommerce platforms for global brands. Your leadership will not only influence key client projects but also contribute to the growth and development of our team and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and clients' technical staff to develop and implement features that facilitate comprehensive integration of ecommerce solutions.
  • Serve as a technical authority and thought leader in Hybris within the organization.
  • Lead and mentor a development team, fostering a culture of growth and innovation.
  • Oversee the creation and documentation of detailed technical specifications for assigned Hybris components and integrations.
  • Facilitate development team scrum sessions and conduct thorough code reviews.
  • Work alongside Solution Architects, Project Managers, and other Developers to assess the effort required for implementing assigned tasks.
  • Develop, customize, and troubleshoot Hybris components and extensions, adhering to best practices and development standards using Java, Spring, and related technologies.
  • Create necessary data models for Hybris projects, including products, catalogs, storefronts, customers, and orders.
  • Transform raw product, inventory, or customer data into suitable formats for Hybris integration, managing one-time or recurring data imports.
  • Provide regular status updates and escalate issues to the Project Manager and Solution Architect as needed.
  • Deliver high-quality Hybris components and integrations within established timelines.
  • Guide, coach, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with Java, J2EE, and Spring.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Hybris.
  • 4+ years of experience in developing web-based applications utilizing SOAP and/or REST.
  • Experience in completing at least one end-to-end Hybris implementation.
  • Served as the platform architect or development lead for at least one Hybris project.
  • Hybris certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with JSP or JSTL, Tomcat, and Hibernate.
  • Proven client service orientation.
  • Experience working with offshore teams is advantageous.
  • A strong desire and ability to mentor junior colleagues and collaborate effectively with senior technical resources.
