Position Summary:
We are currently seeking experienced Transportation Construction Inspectors (TCIS-1 or TCIS-2) to oversee various construction projects. This role involves supervising the inspection and monitoring of highway and structural projects, ensuring compliance with established standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to relevant specifications and contract provisions.
- Evaluate project plans and contractor schedules.
- Document daily site activities using digital tools.
- Prepare necessary work orders and project estimates.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with experience in highway and structure construction inspection. Relevant certifications such as NICET, ACI, NECEPT Concrete, NECEPT Asphalt, and Nuclear Gauge Certification are required. A degree in Civil Engineering may substitute for experience and certifications.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to work independently and lead teams as necessary. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
