Mental Health Support Specialist

As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing essential support to patients facing various serious mental health challenges.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting with patients on a one-on-one basis to offer compassionate support and guidance.
- Facilitating group sessions to foster a supportive community environment and encourage peer interaction.
- Responding to crisis calls through Blue Dot support to provide immediate assistance and intervention during critical situations.
- Offering resources and referrals to individuals struggling with mental health issues, empowering them to access the help they need.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required.
- Previous experience in mental health support for adults or counseling.
- A minimum of 2 years experience as a case manager working with individuals with severe mental health illness or related field.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to empathize with individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle crisis situations with composure and professionalism.
- Experience with Nextgen software is a plus.
Pay Details: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour
