Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our treatment team. The successful candidate will provide essential support to clients, assist with implementing treatment plans, and contribute to a safe and structured environment within the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with daily living activities and maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Monitor and document client behavior, including participation in treatment and adherence to house rules.
  • Support clients during individual therapy sessions and assist licensed professionals in delivering care.
  • Conduct routine rounds to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by clinical staff.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions and progress.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients, fostering a positive and recovery-oriented environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in behavioral health, substance use, or residential treatment settings preferred.
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card.
  • CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with a calm and professional demeanor.
