**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Intern to join our team as a key contributor to ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional patient care.

**Responsibilities**

This position involves working under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to:

  • Ensure patient safety and well-being through adherence to regulatory requirements and pharmacy professional practice standards.
  • Manage workflow efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and foster a positive team culture.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements through ongoing education and training.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A strong foundation in pharmacy principles and practices, with relevant coursework or experience in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with patients, customers, and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift, scan, and bag items, as well as work in a fast-paced retail environment with regular and predictable attendance.
  • Valid intern and/or technician licensure, with completion of required training within state guidelines and timeframe.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Candidates with immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) will be highly regarded.
