Job Description

Overview

The Director of Information Security is a key member of the Acosta leadership team, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive information security program that protects the company's assets and ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of its information.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic information security program that aligns with the company's business objectives and risk tolerance.
  • Lead the identification and mitigation of information security risks, including the development of risk assessments and the implementation of controls to mitigate those risks.
  • Establish and maintain information security policies and procedures, including incident response and disaster recovery plans.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of security awareness training programs for employees.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure the security of company systems and data.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies, and recommend changes to the information security program as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Security, or related field.
  • Relevant certification, such as CISSP, CRISC, or CISM.
  • At least 13 years of experience in information security, with 8 years of supervisory/management experience.
  • Proven experience with current IT security technologies and information security frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Information Systems, Information Security, or related field.
  • Relevant experience in a leadership role, with a proven track record of developing and implementing information security programs.
