About the Role

Cedarhurst of Beaumont is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Aide to join our care team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and providing direct care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents in accordance with their individualized care plans
  • Provide direct care services, including assistance with activities of daily living and vital sign monitoring
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure seamless delivery of resident care
  • Participate in resident evaluations and contribute to the development of individualized care plans
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident care and medication administration
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; current state certification as a Medication Aide preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
  • At least one year of related work experience in senior care; knowledge of laws and regulations governing assisted living care a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
