Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Radiology ED Associate to join our team at Yale New Haven Health. As a key member of our Radiology Business Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Diagnostic Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely check-in of patients entering the Radiology ED, including general x-ray, Cat Scan, and Ultrasound.
  • Screen and transfer incoming phone calls to the appropriate areas to facilitate accurate and timely department communication.
  • Provide exceptional customer service support to patients, families, staff, and community contacts.
  • Perform Image Library functions to assist patients, referring physicians, and radiologists.
  • Provide backup support to the Radiology Communications Command Center with regards to critical results.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Business or Healthcare Sciences/Administration strongly preferred or equivalent directly related experience required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years clinical and/or administrative/clerical experience required or current enrollment in accredited Radiology program.
  • Experience in Diagnostic Radiology and/or Emergency Department setting preferred.
