Athletic Trainer - Advanced

Kettering Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer - Advanced to join our Sports Medicine team. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional care to individuals with athletic injuries, trauma, and disease processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide care to individuals with athletic injuries, trauma, and disease processes
  • Develop and implement injury prevention programs for athletes in the community and clinic settings
  • Perform a wide variety of treatment procedures consistent with athletic injury care
  • Keep referring physicians updated as needed
  • Interact with patients, co-workers, and customers throughout KHN
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science/Art degree
  • Current license from the Ohio Occupational Therapy/Physical Therapy and Athletic Trainers Board
  • Current certification by the Athletic Trainers Board of Certification
  • Current certification at healthcare provider level CPR
Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate well
  • Remains current/increases knowledge in all aspects of Athletic Training
  • Knowledge and ability to use equipment
  • Possesses characteristics of dependability, versatility, and teamwork
  • Ability to be flexible and able to adapt to change
  • Ability to follow procedures and adhere to details is essential
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with other personnel
