The Center for Sports Medicine and Orthopaedics is on the lookout for a Certified Athletic Trainer to join our team in a full-time capacity. This role is essential for ensuring the health and well-being of athletes, particularly those associated with a professional soccer team.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to identify, treat, and implement preventive measures for athletic injuries.
- Design, evaluate, and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and response to therapies.
- Collaborate effectively with a diverse group of athletes, medical personnel, and administrative staff to deliver comprehensive care.
- Communicate clearly and provide emotional support to athletes, coaches, and other stakeholders.
- Possession of an NPI Number.
- Athletic Training Licensure (or eligibility) in Tennessee and Georgia.
- BOC Certification is required.
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory; a Master's degree is preferred.
- At least one year of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer is preferred.
- Current CPR/AED Certification from the American Heart Association.
