About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Therapist to join our team at Youth Villages. As a Family Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing intensive treatment to families in need, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve a more stable and fulfilling life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry a caseload of 4-5 families, providing intensive treatment and support to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each case, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each family.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews of treatment progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Document all sessions and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner, using web-based documentation tools.
  • Maintain on-call availability to clients during the week, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Drive up to 60-80 miles to meet with families in their homes, providing treatment in a variety of settings and communities.
  • Work closely with clinical supervision and other team members to ensure the highest quality of care and support for our clients.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or psychology.
  • At least one year of experience working with at-risk youth, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • A valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for use on the job.
