Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team at State Systems, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing and servicing commercial fire alarms, access control systems, electronic security systems, and other low voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and program fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes.
  • Service and maintain access control systems, CCTV, intrusion detection, and low voltage communications systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using various testing devices and ensure compliance with electrical and fire safety codes.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks and projects.
  • Maintain and take care of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements
  • Advanced technical school training or related work experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally.
  • May be exposed to temperature changes, small spaces, and confined spaces.
