Position SummaryThe Transition Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the transition of projects from the implementation phase to the operational phase. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition process while minimizing disruptions to our clients and stakeholders. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and overseeing transition activities, ensuring all technical and business requirements are effectively met, and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, manage, and implement the transition of projects from inception to operational status.
- Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient transitions.
- Develop and implement transition plans, including contingency plans, that consider business, technical, and operational requirements.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues that may impact the transition process and develop mitigating strategies.
- Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards and are delivered on schedule.
- Monitor the transition process, make adjustments as necessary, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders and ensure their expectations are met.
- Provide post-transition support, including resolving any issues that arise and gathering feedback for process improvement.
- 3+ years of experience in project management, transition management, or a related field in the software industry.
- Drayage experience required.
- Proven track record of managing successful project transitions.
- Exceptional communication skills, and the ability to drive people towards a goal.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and manage risks.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes and work under pressure.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $80,000 a year
