Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents while supporting the therapeutic milieu.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of residents' behavioral programs by providing care and close supervision of facility residents and documenting behavior.
  • Develop positive relationships with residents and implement treatment plans as necessary.
  • Observe peer culture and recommend solutions to problems as needed.
  • Participate in residents' group therapy and attend staff development training to meet facility and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain professional relationships with members of all departments and direct care staff.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Higher level education in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
  • One year experience in a residential treatment or children's services program preferred.
  • Valid state driver's license.
