Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optometrist to join our team at EssilorLuxottica in Kingston, NY.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality Optometric care to patients, ensuring their visual health and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the MOD and store team to achieve exceptional results and growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Optometric theory and technology, applying this knowledge to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Conduct regular eye exams, diagnose conditions, and provide accurate recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining each step of the eye exam and summarizing their vision, eye health, and overall well-being.
  • Utilize technology to deliver exceptional patient experiences and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure office systems are maintained, and all patients receive accurate diagnoses and recommendations.
  • Provide effective training and guidance to team members, leveraging company-provided programs.
  • Deliver clear, motivating, and constructive feedback to associates.
  • Lead by example, creating a positive culture and promoting associate decision-making.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry degree.
  • Commitment to quality patient care.
  • Knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid organizational skills.
