Dental Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate dental professional to join our dynamic dental team in Kingston. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality oral healthcare to our diverse patient community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist in practicing two- or four-handed dentistry, including delivering and retrieving instruments from the dentist, providing suction and retraction as instructed.
- Review and confirm medical history and current medications with patients, discovering and communicating changes and other relevant health information to the dentist.
- Interact effectively with patients, meeting and greeting them, escorting them to the operatory, and preparing them for appointments.
- Prepare, maintain, and break down the operatory according to protocol before, during, and after patient visits.
