Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, performing routine maintenance tasks, and addressing any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work.
  • Conduct biannual unit inspections to identify and address maintenance needs.
  • Perform monthly exterior inspections to ensure the property's exterior is well-maintained.
  • Handle move-in and move-out check-ins, ensuring all necessary tasks are completed.
  • Assist with punch lists on larger rehab and unit turn projects.
  • Secure properties upon acquisition or for new management clients with new locks and keys.
  • Provide on-site labor support for rehab projects as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Availability for on-call emergency maintenance as needed.
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a need for precision and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize and possess efficient time management skills.
  • Goal-oriented and team player.
Preferred Experience
  • 1-2 years of maintenance experience required.
  • Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.
  • Basic knowledge of using a variety of equipment including circular saw, drill, jig saw, electrical tester, hand tools, power tools, and cordless tools.
