POSITION SUMMARY AND REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Harrisburg, within the School of Public Affairs, invites applications for adjunct faculty roles for the Academic Year. This position involves teaching Criminal Justice (CRIMJ) courses for our residential programs.

Qualifications:
  • A Ph.D. in criminal justice or a related social science discipline is preferred.
  • Highly qualified ABD candidates with substantial field experience may be considered.
  • Applicants with a minimum of an earned Master's degree or Juris Doctorate, some classroom experience in a college setting, and significant experience in the criminal justice sector may also be considered.
The Criminal Justice Program offers both online and residential undergraduate (A.S. and B.S.) and graduate (MACJ) programs. It is part of the School of Public Affairs, which includes additional undergraduate programs in Public Policy and Political Science, as well as graduate programs such as the Master's in Public Administration, the Master's in Health Administration, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration.
