Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Traveling Medical Assistant/Area Specialist to join our team at Weil Foot & Ankle Institute. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our geographically dispersed team across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a geographically dispersed team across multiple locations, providing direct patient care and administrative tasks as required.
  • Perform cross-trained duties as a Medical Assistant (MA) and Patient Services Representative (PSR), including interviewing patients, gathering medical history, and updating medical records.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and patients for exams, sterilize instruments, and manage medical supplies and materials.
  • Provide project support and integration for new physician and/or new practice location onboarding, including go-live integration and on-site training support.
  • Develop effective working relationships with peers and physicians, and maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with continuing education preferred.
  • Certified Medical Assistant certificate preferred.
  • Excellent organization abilities, written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment, with self-motivation and ability to complete projects independently within established timeframes.
  • Advanced understanding/knowledge of computer data entry, Microsoft Excel, and ability to navigate through any business-related software.
