Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and intuitive Travel Coordinator to provide day-to-day support for our team of Travel Consultants. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills, a passion for travel, and a keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Itinerary Building: Assist in creating customized travel itineraries for clients.
  • Email Support: Craft engaging emails to clients and suppliers.
  • Hotel Rate Checks: Perform hotel rate checks using Sabre to ensure optimal pricing.
  • Concierge Services: Arrange concierge services, including dining, entertainment, and ground transportation reservations.
  • Supplier Correspondence: Correspond with suppliers to coordinate bespoke travel arrangements.
  • Client Relationship Building: Build relationships with clients and suppliers to ensure exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, including data entry, tracking time on client trips, and updating client travel documents.

Requirements

  • New York-Based: Must be based in New York.
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree required.
  • International Travel Experience: Minimum 10 countries traveled to and extensive knowledge of world geography.
  • Communication Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with creative writing a plus.
  • Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in customer service or hospitality background a plus.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to present, persuade, and communicate effectively, with a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
  • Team Player: Team player with a strong work ethic, able to work collaboratively and within groups.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with MS Office, with Excel skills mandatory, and knowledge of Sabre, Adobe Suite, and Salesforce a plus.

Compensation

  • Salary: $62,500 annually.
  • Benefits: Employee medical, dental, and vision benefits, retirement and profit-sharing plan (401k), 15 days of paid time off, 10 annual holidays, and 4 religious floating holidays.
