About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our Strategic Management and Governance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, crafting detailed project and process specifications, and collaborating with project teams to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop functional specifications by analyzing business requirements and constructing workflow charts and diagrams.
  • Lead workflow design and collaborate with user experience design teams.
  • Collaborate with project teams, product management, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review resource estimates and schedules with project teams.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on project requirements and best practices.
  • Work closely with developers and test engineers to ensure system integration and user acceptance testing scripts accurately reflect business and functional requirements.
  • Participate in reviews of system integration test results and defect reviews.
  • Contribute to the creation of system documentation under company-specific best practices and standards.
  • Identify and recommend controls to automate manual processes and mitigate risk.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of IT experience as a Senior Business Systems Analyst.
  • Familiarity with diverse technologies and platforms.
  • Experience with Agile techniques and tools, including Scrum and Jira.
  • Strong SQL query writing skills, including unions, inner and outer joins.
  • Basic Excel manipulation skills, including pivot tables, lookup functions, and substring manipulations.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to assemble functional requirements in JIRA.
  • Assist testing teams in providing data from operational systems.
  • Familiarity with GSD and MBSD products, including TIPs, BONDs, REPOs, POOLs, and Security Identifiers.
  • High-level understanding of market risk, including VaR and its usage.
