Key Responsibilities for the Accountant II role:
Deliver a range of general accounting services for designated facilities within the Phoebe network; coordinate tasks within the department and collaborate with other units; report relevant information to the immediate supervisor and address inquiries from staff members, among other duties.

Qualifications for the Accountant II position:
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in financial management or accounting; proficient in financial statement preparation, account reconciliation, budget formulation, and computerized financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Experience with Medicaid & Medicare is advantageous, along with prior experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Successful candidates will thrive in a positive and respectful customer-driven culture and embody the organization's Faith in Action Mission, Vision, and Values.
