Job Description

At NOV, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented NDT Inspector to join our team. As an NDT Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry-recommended practices.
  • Develop and maintain critical control points to ensure excellent process and product quality.
  • Set up and calibrate equipment accordingly per work order.
  • Communicate and coordinate all pertinent information to the appropriate Supervisor/ Manager to ensure effective and safe operations.
  • Perform quality checks throughout production runs.
  • Inform the Supervisor/ Manager or his designee of any interruptions or irregularities in the production line.
  • Follow all Company HSE and QMS policies and procedures; report to the appropriate personnel any violations.
  • Accurately create and maintain inspection and production reports as required.
Job Qualifications:
  • Ability to think ahead, anticipate problems, make decisions, and be a team player.
  • Self-motivated towards productivity improvements, quality, and safety awareness.
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  • Flexible and able to accept and respond to multi-task assignments quickly, readily, and safely.
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office; primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 yrs minimum of Quality Experience is required.
  • Level II Certifications are required. NDT, VTI, MPI, LPT, EMI, UT.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to operate measurement tools and equipment properly.
  • Willing to work overtime as needed.
