Position Overview:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for the comprehensive delivery and management of patient care through the application of the nursing process.

This model emphasizes the significance of the nurse's relationships with themselves, colleagues, and patients/families, impacting the overall patient experience.


Expert Clinical Care:

Involves thorough clinical assessment, strategic planning, prioritization, coordination, and execution of patient care.


Leadership Development:

Demonstrates a commitment to shared governance and engages in leadership opportunities within the healthcare setting.

Compensation Range:
$58.00 Hourly

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required within five years of hire.

Experience:
A minimum of one year of relevant nursing experience is required.

Licensure:
Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification is mandatory.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, frequent travel, and bending/stooping. Proficient communication, auditory, and visual skills are essential, along with attention to detail and legible writing ability. Must be capable of lifting/pushing/pulling as necessary and may be exposed to various health-related hazards.
