The Line Cook Role

We're seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you'll be responsible for preparing a variety of food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags. You'll work closely with our culinary team to ensure that every dish that goes out is of the highest quality and meets our high standards.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, and broilers
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work station and working area
  • Handle all products properly in accordance with Health Department standards and Snooze guidelines
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity standards
  • Communicate clearly with management staff and other team members
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in the restaurant industry
  • 6 months of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred
  • Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US
