We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bistecca Italian Steakhouse. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in accordance with our menu and recipe standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and regulations.
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating across multiple stations.
- Ensure the freshness of products and handle, store, and rotate them properly in accordance with SNHD regulations.
- Label prepared food items correctly and maintain all working stations, including food preparation, cooking, kitchen cleanliness, and dish station.
- Record food temperatures, production, and waste on required documentation.
- Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Physical stamina to work in a standing position for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
