MyTeam Medical Staffing is looking to place 2 Medical Assistants or EMTs within a distinguished healthcare facility specializing in surgical services. We have one Full-Time and one Part-Time position available (3 days per week). While experience in surgical specialties is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.
The ideal Medical Assistants or EMTs will possess at least 1 year of recent experience in a physician's office or clinic setting, demonstrating their capability in a clinical role.
Core ResponsibilitiesKey Duties Include:
- Welcoming patients and verifying the purpose of their visit.
- Preparing and sanitizing treatment areas and ensuring proper sterilization of clinical instruments.
- Managing pharmacy communications, including relaying messages to both physicians and patients.
- Coordinating the ordering of tests and medications as necessary.
- Digitally archiving documents into patient records.
Education | Training | Experience | Certifications:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical medical assistant role.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers (preferably from AHA).
- Strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of patient care practices.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
