Position Overview

MyTeam Medical Staffing is looking to place 2 Medical Assistants or EMTs within a distinguished healthcare facility specializing in surgical services. We have one Full-Time and one Part-Time position available (3 days per week). While experience in surgical specialties is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite.

The ideal Medical Assistants or EMTs will possess at least 1 year of recent experience in a physician's office or clinic setting, demonstrating their capability in a clinical role.

Core Responsibilities

Key Duties Include:

  • Welcoming patients and verifying the purpose of their visit.
  • Preparing and sanitizing treatment areas and ensuring proper sterilization of clinical instruments.
  • Managing pharmacy communications, including relaying messages to both physicians and patients.
  • Coordinating the ordering of tests and medications as necessary.
  • Digitally archiving documents into patient records.
Qualifications

Education | Training | Experience | Certifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical medical assistant role.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program.
  • Possession of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers (preferably from AHA).
  • Strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of patient care practices.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
