A Day in the Life of a Pastry Line Cook

As a Pastry Line Cook, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our pastry kitchen, creating delicious baked goods, pastry items, wedding cakes, and other special sweet preparations. You will supervise the preparation and service of pastries for banquets and receptions, taking pride in each product that leaves the kitchen. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that every dish meets our high standards.

Requirements

  • Currently completing college education in the culinary field (preferably in pastry or graduated)
  • A sound understanding of sanitation practices (ServSafe Food Handler certification is preferred)
  • Physical ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
  • Basic math skills
