As a Recovery Clerk Part Time at BJ's Wholesale Club, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, ensuring a positive shopping experience, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to members, addressing their needs and concerns in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Replenish and stock merchandise, ensuring that shelves are fully stocked and visually appealing.
  • Keep the sales floor clean, neat, and organized, maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for members.
  • Replenish milk, dairy, freezer, food, and non-food merchandise, folding and organizing apparel, books, and other merchandise as needed.
  • Remove empty cardboard from the sales floor, shelves, display cases, and replenish box bins, using a cardboard baler to dispose of cardboard.
  • Return all returned and re-shop merchandise to the sales floor.
  • Maintain all club policies and procedures, performing other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must successfully complete required training and certification processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail required.

Work Environment:

  • Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces, frequently requiring bending, climbing, crawling, pulling, reaching, stooping, and climbing ladders/step stools.
  • Frequently requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds, with occasional lifting and moving of heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
  • Frequent exposure to company-authorized cleaning agents.
  • Exposure to both indoor and outdoor temperatures, as well as occasional exposure to extreme temperatures in freezers and coolers.

Compensation:

The pay range for this position is starting from $15.00, with actual salaries varying depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
