OVERVIEW

The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is accountable for managing routine aircraft maintenance operations, which include inspections, repairs, and diagnostics, while ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Independently execute aircraft operations, encompassing maintenance evaluations, towing, and fuel assessments.
  • Carry out intricate aircraft tasks, including troubleshooting and evaluating flight control systems.
  • Follow engineering schematics, manufacturer guidelines, and maintenance documentation meticulously.
  • Provide training to team members on operational procedures and safety standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all aircraft activities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments to achieve production objectives.
  • Source and order necessary parts and materials as required.
  • Uphold a clean and secure working environment.
  • Complete mandatory training within designated timeframes.

SUPERVISORY DUTIES

Act as a substitute for the lead technician when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy maintenance or a related field.
  • Preferred experience of 2 years with BBJ aircraft.
  • Skilled in the use of basic hand tools and maintenance equipment.
  • Strong computer proficiency and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

  • Fluent in English.
  • Able to read and interpret technical manuals and documents.

CERTIFICATIONS

Preferred possession of an Airframe and/or Powerplant license.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Adherence to standard safety protocols in potentially hazardous conditions is essential.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Some travel may be necessary.
