Repair Development Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop new repair processes and technologies for aerospace components
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure products and services meet industry standards
  • Provide analytical support for new repair development studies and cost benefit analysis
  • Prepare engineering reports and data packages for repair development substantiation and approval
  • Support production development group activity in modifying and refining existing repair schemes
Requirements:
  • BS in Engineering or Materials Science (required) or MS in Materials Science (preferred)
  • 2-4 years experience in repair process support and/or development (minimum)
  • 5-8 years experience in repair process support and/or development (preferred)
  • Thorough knowledge of aerospace materials and typical repair processes
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills
