We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at CCRM Fertility. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering top-notch fertility services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for examinations, including vital sign measurements, updating health information, and administering medications as directed.
  • Document patient information, including vital signs, assessment, and encounter type, into our electronic medical record system.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Assist with minor medical procedures, such as hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsies, and Pap smears.
  • Maintain patient workflow, ensuring timely and efficient care, and coordinate with healthcare providers to meet scheduling requirements.
  • Order and schedule lab tests, review results, and annotate appropriate dispositions.
  • Prepare and maintain exam rooms, including disinfecting and restocking supplies.
  • Perform urine pregnancy tests, document results, and communicate with healthcare providers as needed.
  • Autoclave instruments, document sizes and types, and maintain cleaning solutions.
  • Assist with equipment maintenance, sterilization, and ordering supplies.
  • Monitor medicine cabinets and refrigerators, ordering medications as needed.
  • Scan signed consents, office appointment forms, laboratory, and pathology reports into the EMR.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) credential required.
  • BCLS certification required.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred.
  • 1+ year Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nursing experience preferred.
  • A minimum of two hundred (200) successful blood draws is required (with documentation).
Working Conditions:

This role operates in a professional office, clinical, and/or laboratory setting. The physical demands described here are representative of those which should be met, with or without reasonable accommodation (in accordance with ADA Guidelines), by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, telephones, photocopiers, scanners, and filing cabinets. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will interact with others and ensure compliance with medical regulations, ethical guidelines, and organizational policies to maintain the highest standards of care and patient and staff safety.

CCRM's Compensation:

The salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge. The pay range does not reflect the total compensation package. Our rewards may include an annual bonus, flexible work arrangements, and many other region-specific benefits.
