Piper Companies, a leading CDMO, is seeking a skilled Automation Specialist to join their team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role involves providing operational support functions and overseeing the troubleshooting process for a new facility build out/technical transfer.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide automation operational support functions
  • Lead plant operations to assess and resolve non-conforming events, determine impact
  • Develop and deliver reports from reporting software
  • Provide technical support for all elements of computer-aided manufacturing

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing automation or validation and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Knowledge of ISA standards/practices for instrumentation and proficiency in Delta V are also required. Technical writing skills with reference to CSV are an added advantage.

Compensation for this role includes a competitive hourly rate of $45-$48, comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
