Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Automation Specialist to join our team at Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. as a Controls Engineer - Project Manager - Programmer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, programming, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of building automation systems.

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project and engineering drawing tools is essential.
  • Familiarity with new construction, renovation/retrofit and service project management concepts is required.
  • Experience in contracting processes associated with the installation of building automation systems is necessary.
  • Knowledge of energy management systems, HVAC systems and temperature controls is essential.
  • Prior experience with Alerton Controls and Tridium Niagara AX is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing building automation systems.
  • Managing projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Coordinating with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.
  • Maintaining relationships with vendors and contractors.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to identify new business opportunities.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • At least 5 years of experience in building automation systems, project management, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Office products, Microsoft Project, and engineering drawing tools.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
