We are seeking a skilled HVAC Operations Coordinator Professional to join our team at Johnson Controls.

About the Role:

This is a critical role that requires exceptional organizational and communication skills. As an HVAC Operations Coordinator Professional, you will be responsible for scheduling service calls, managing technician schedules, and ensuring timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Receives customer requests for unscheduled or scheduled service and coordinates labor scheduling to align technicians with the appropriate customer and service needs.
  • Communicates action plans and services to be provided directly to customers and ensures work has been performed to their expectations.
  • Answers customer inquiries, resolves issues, and escalates as necessary.
  • Maintains consistent communication with assigned technicians, follows up on activities to ensure completion within established timeframes, and ensures all customer account information required for call management and scheduling is kept up-to-date in NxGen.
  • Schedules service visits on time, orders parts, creates purchase orders, provides start-up support, confirms customer POs, manages WIP, generates auto SR quotes, reconciles exceptions, and attends weekly planning/scheduling meetings.
  • Assists with monitoring time and expense reporting submissions, reviews and corrects unassociated time for timesheets, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, plus two to five years of service industry experience managing service operations and/or service scheduling.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform work independently, solid organizational and attention to detail skills, strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with internal and external clients, and the ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
  • Prior dispatch experience is desired, and an associate's degree is preferred.
