Job Summary:

Crown is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Health and Safety Co-Op to join our team. As an EHS Co-Op, you will assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the development of environmental and safety training programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the collection and maintenance of safety data, including training records, inspections, and record-keeping.
  • Conduct environmental and safety training sessions for employees.
  • Support the development and implementation of ISO 14001 in all Crown facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Director/EHS Manager to create environmental and safety training modules and waste management plans.
  • Conduct regular environmental and safety audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Compile and submit data for regulatory reports, including Air Emission, Hazardous Chemical Inventory, and Toxic Release Inventory reports.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must be currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management, Earth and Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
