Key Responsibilities- Foster a safe and supportive learning environment that recognizes and values each student's unique strengths and challenges.
- Implement lessons that meet grade-level academic standards, creating engaging instructional content to support students in accessing academics.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to evaluate student-specific educational needs and develop plans to meet them.
- Assume other responsibilities necessary to ensure program safety and continuity.
- MA teachers certification: Moderate Disabilities K-8 or 5-12
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with students, colleagues, parents, and school leaders
- Cultural competence to work with students from different backgrounds and with different abilities
- Excellent teaching, writing, and communication skills
- Strong creative thinking, flexibility, and crisis management skills
37.5 hours per week: Monday - Friday, days; 12-month, benefited position
What We OfferA competitive salary range of $70,000 - $80,000 per year, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
