At Interim, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Lead Administrative Assistant/Counselor Specialist to join our team. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional support services and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

About the Role:

  • We offer a competitive salary ranging from $24.38 to $32.58 per hour, based on education and experience.
  • This full-time position involves working 40 hours a week, with eligibility for overtime.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, counseling, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients, answer phone calls, and maintain client databases.
  • Collect and enter program data into client databases.
  • Manage referrals, schedules, and facilitate client intakes for the Co-op program.
  • Maintain open communication with Department of Rehabilitation and Monterey County Behavioral Health regarding referrals and program authorizations.
  • Prepare and compile reports/statistics related to the Co-op, Wellness Navigation, and Workforce Education & Training Programs.
  • Distribute mail, collect information from clients for Social Security income reporting, and assist clients with income reporting.
  • Take notes during staff meetings and maintain records.
  • Maintain adequate supply of postage and other office supplies, prepare mailings, and program information material.
  • Type and dispatch general correspondence, make copies, and maintain general office files and client files.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Valid California driver's license; auto in safe operating condition; auto liability insurance; good driving record; criminal record clearance; proof of authorization to work in the United States as required by Immigration and Reform Act of 1986
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
