Position Summary:

Job Title: Caribou Clerk - Afternoon Closing until 6:30pm Plus Weekends

FLSA Status: Hourly

Reports To: Caribou Manager

The Caribou Clerk plays a vital role in efficiently fulfilling guest beverage orders while fostering a welcoming and lively environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist customers with their beverage selections, ensuring a friendly greeting and gratitude for their patronage.
  • Offer personalized recommendations to enhance guest experience.
  • Address and resolve guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
  • Process guest orders and handle payments accurately.
  • Prepare beverages and serve food items as needed.
  • Maintain organized and well-stocked supplies.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the work area, keeping floors free of debris.
  • Prepare products for subsequent shifts.
  • Conduct temperature checks and maintain food safety logs.
  • Complete assigned checklists, side tasks, and cleaning duties as directed by the Supervisor.
  • Exhibit regular and punctual attendance in accordance with the work schedule, providing adequate notice for any absences.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Frequent walking, bending, and kneeling.
  • Able to lift, stack, and maneuver objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Operation of equipment such as intercoms, telephones, scanners, registers, scales, blenders, coffee makers, espresso machines, and coffee grinders.

WORK SCHEDULE:

The Caribou Clerk position is available as either full-time or part-time. The work schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
