Job Title: Electrical Engineer - Energy Storage Systems

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. As an Electrical Engineer - Energy Storage Systems, you will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of electrical systems for energy storage products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop system specifications, schematics, and component requirements for energy storage systems.
  • Design and develop battery pack components, including busbars, fuses, wiring, connectors, contactors, and control modules.
  • Interface with vehicle, supplier, functional safety, software, diagnostics, and prototype build teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
  • Support service and troubleshooting of field battery packs through existing schematics and processes.
  • Collaborate with suppliers on design strategies and solutions throughout the battery pack development process.
  • Assist with the creation and use of modeling strategies and analysis tools to optimize energy storage system performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical system architecture development, battery pack component design, and integration.
  • Experience with electrical schematic creation, maintenance, and interpretation through Siemens Capital software suite or similar.
  • CAD and PLM software experience, CREO Parametric and Teamcenter.
  • Knowledge of electrical system standards (UN, UL, SAE, ISO, FMVSS).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proactive behaviors.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with vehicle electrical harness assembly and manufacturing.
  • Harness 2D print interpretation.
  • Experience with battery pack to vehicle integration.
  • Agriculture and Construction domain knowledge and experience.
