Emergency Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Physician Assistant to join our team at ZoomCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver top-notch advanced clinical care to patients, utilizing the ZoomCare care model to provide a consistent and high-quality experience.
- Perform a range of clinical procedures, including laceration repair, incision and drainage, fracture and joint reduction, wound repair, cardioversion, and pediatric procedures.
- Master all technical tools and methods, including ZoomWare, instant messaging platform, onsite lab tests, and onsite pharmacy.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues about clinical diagnosis, treatment, and disposition planning, as well as prices, insurance coverage, and the price impact of adding lab tests or selecting various medicines.
- Manage stable chronic illnesses, alongside focused adult wellness examinations and preventive care.
- Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies with certification by the NCCPA or Masters of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner, required.
- ACLS and PALS certified, required.
- 2+ years experience in an emergency department setting preferred, working with all ages.
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Able to maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Eligible to participate in the Medicare program.
- Competitive salary range of $142,000 - $158,000 per year, DOE, plus bonus potential and shift pay.
