At Physician Empire, we are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team in Dutchess County. This exciting opportunity combines clinical care in opioid use disorder with a focus on program development and quality improvement.

About the Role:

We are looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to participate in our multidisciplinary team treating opioid use disorder in an integrated primary care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in program development and quality improvement, as well as experience in prescribing buprenorphine. Previous experience in chronic HCV treatment is also a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical care in opioid use disorder
  • Program development and quality improvement
  • Administration and leadership roles within the MAT program
  • Multidisciplinary team collaboration
  • Weekly case-conferencing and quality improvement

Requirements:

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Current possession of a DEA X Waiver for buprenorphine (at least 100-patient waiver eligible)
  • Previous experience in prescribing buprenorphine (ideal but not required)
