Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to lead our Truck Stop operations at Enmarket (Enmark Stations Inc.).

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of the retail operation, driving sales and profits by taking an ownership mentality of the assigned location.
  • Be passionate about customer service and the retail industry, inspiring and developing team members to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service, retail presentation, and internal and external image.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire top talent, ensuring effective orientation and training.
  • Analyze sales, margin, product inventory levels, cash, and inventory trends, utilizing reporting metrics to maximize profitability.
  • Execute company marketing plans and procedures, implementing new program rollouts at store level.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels through effective ordering, supporting sales and minimizing non-productive inventory.
  • Ensure safety, health, food safety, and sanitation requirements are met, adhering to federal, state, local, and company standards.
  • Manage employee scheduling and payroll, maximizing daily sales while achieving labor targets.
  • Complete required paperwork and reporting, achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance goals.
  • Effectively communicate with subordinates, peers, and upper management, managing employee activities and assigned duties.
  • Investigate inventory or cash shortages, ensuring correct vendor procedures are followed.
  • Ensure all cash handling and inventory control procedures are followed, conducting monthly cash audits.
  • Implement and enforce company policies, rules, and procedures, participating in community service events.
  • Resolve customer complaints and problems, executing fuel pricing strategies and completing self-maintenance items.
  • Assist in maintaining high employee morale and engagement, building effective business relationships with vendor partners.
  • Maintain a safe work environment, being a proactive business manager to achieve company goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years' experience as a retail manager, convenience store experience preferred.
  • Ability to work 50 hours weekly, flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience with Trendar POS required.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, reach, locate, stack, and lift inventory weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Meet all requirements expected of an Enmarket Store Associate.
