Packaging Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain packaging equipment, including Lambpak, Mirapak, Bosch, Dynapak, and other machinery
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment with minimal supervision, using knowledge of solid state electronics and mechanical systems
  • Perform welding, pipe fitting, and sheet metal fabrication as needed
  • Install new equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, often in extreme temperatures and with exposure to noise, fumes, and other hazardous conditions

Requirements

  • 2-year maintenance certification preferred
  • Ability to weld, chip, grind, and use power tools safely at heights
  • Willingness to work in all areas of the plant, both inside and outside, in various weather conditions
  • Ability to work near moving mechanical parts, electrical equipment, and open circuits
