Position: Pediatric Mental Health Therapist

About the Role:

We are in search of Licensed Therapists who are enthusiastic about making a significant difference in the lives of youth. This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on providing essential mental health services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based virtual mental health counseling and therapeutic interventions to a designated group of K-12 students.
  • Conduct initial mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Perform ongoing assessments to monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care management team to facilitate smooth transitions into Hazel services and identify external support resources.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Maintain a consistent weekly availability and productivity level as determined by Clinical Leadership.
  • Provide consultative telehealth crisis support for students and school partners as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold an unrestricted license as a LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.
  • Licensure in California and the state of residence is required.
  • Additional licenses in various states are preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in a school-based environment or with school-aged children is essential.
  • Familiarity with diagnosis and assessment practices related to children's mental health is necessary.
  • Experience with telehealth services is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations are critical.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
