Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced Superconducting Electronics Test Engineers to enhance our devices testing team. This role is critical in advancing our research and development efforts in Quantum electronics.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and assist in the testing and development processes for Quantum electronics.
  • Establish testing protocols for the characterization and validation of quantum device functionality.
  • Support the evolution of testing platforms while adhering to budgetary and scheduling constraints.
  • Document and enforce testing requirements and methodologies.
  • Evaluate test plans for thoroughness and precision.
  • Analyze data and recommend necessary adjustments in testing strategies, equipment, procedures, or manufacturing processes.

Basic Qualifications for Principal Superconducting Electronics Test Engineer:

A Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or a related technical area, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or 3 years with a Master's Degree; or no experience with a PhD.

Proficiency in at least one programming language, including MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.


Essential Experience:
  • Hands-on experience with RF testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and experience in data analysis.
  • Understanding of fundamental microelectronic device physics.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be a US Citizen with the capability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in superconducting electronics and related testing platforms, along with a solid understanding of superconductivity principles. Familiarity with cryogenic systems and prior laboratory experience is advantageous. Experience in RF device testing and the ability to lead small teams of engineers or technicians is also preferred.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements is essential.
