Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Integration Specialist II to join our team at Blue Origin. As an Integration Specialist II, you will play a critical role in the assembly, integration, and testing of our spacecraft and rocket systems. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of hardware and software components, and will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, integrate, and test spacecraft and rocket systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of hardware and software components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in aerospace or related fields
  • Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate differing opinions in a collaborative environment without conflict among other team members
  • Ability to use standard mechanical tools, fabrication shop equipment, and the capability to drill and prepare close tolerance holes for fastener installation
  • A&P license or equivalent experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration
  • Ability to support Monday through Thursday 1st shift (A shift) 5am - 3:30pm and additional weekend overtime as requested
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
Preferred Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and vehicle integration
  • Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware
  • Familiarity with tube fabrication (bend, flare, fittings, etc) and pressurized system safety
  • Knowledge in the use of 3-D CAD tools (ProEngineer is preferred), and ability to read and interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard
