Pre-Certification Representative Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pre-Certification Representative to join our team at Willis Knighton Health. As a key member of our clinic, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication with insurance companies and patients to obtain pre-authorizations for scans, tests, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Submit requests to insurance companies for pre-authorization of medical procedures
  • Communicate with patients and insurance companies to gather necessary information
  • Coordinate with doctors and nurses to resolve any issues or denials
  • Collaborate with the hospital's pre-certification department to relay authorization information
  • Timely scan in of all orders and information once a pre-authorization is completed
